Have you had that experience when someone, who is a complete stranger, just suddenly sit or stand beside you offering you to buy a product for his/her studies? How did you feel? Were you surprised? annoyed? or disgusted?

I have witnessed many of those reactions. Some were even a mixture of different emotions. Some would understand, or at least try to understand. However, most would just pretend they did not hear anything; or worse, they would say some offensive insults at them.

I am one of those persons who did that before. I sold pens when I was in college. I sold them for thrice or even four times its original price. It may look rude, because it seems that I fooled people. But I did not. I told them my reason. I persuaded them. I just do not know if they listened or if they really believed.

Now, I have graduated. I am now working and earning money for myself. I may not be able to thank those people personally, but in my heart I am very grateful for them for supporting me (unconsciously). The pen that they bought, helped me to earn a degree and become a professional.

Sometimes, we do not have to think WHAT we do, but WHY we do it.
