When Pakistan was founded in 1947 it comprised 2 territories on either side of the expanse of India. It was at that time that Pakistan International was formed. Despite ups and downs from that time PIA survived to grow and achieve new heights. Currently it has a huge international route network, in addition to services closer to home, with a modern and expanding fleet of Boeing 777, ATR42 and 72 aircraft along with the narrow body Airbus A-320 aircraft.

 Back then, PIA was a very popular airline in the world and was even known as one of the best airline in the world.

This national flag carrier of Pakistan made several airlines such as Emirates airline and Singapore Airline to name a few. This clearly shows that it has capable and efficient people working in the airline.

These days for several years it has been going in losses due to over staffing and political interference. 

So much to say about this airline but i am short of time now. It is being privatized now and feel really sorry for the airline that once there was a time when people love to travel through it and loved the airline. Not to forget its hospitality and commendable services.
