Afghan girls educational life story

Posted on at

Looking to the word like Afghanistan, point every user attitude to the statements like war in Afghanistan, lack of education, women with long blue cover “Borqa” and men with beard, however it was the truth for many years ago while Taliban regime dominated Afghanistan which I can call that time “ Afghanistan dark era”.

For girls in Afghanistan who were a considerable part of the society, it was a dream to go to school and continue their studies. Being under lots of pressure and restrictions, there was always a hope in their inner feelings, but they continued their studying and keep doing that at home with other girls.

In 2002, everything has changed, Afghan girls' dream turned into reality and they could attend schools and have access to educational environment like other girls in the world.

New government gave the same right for girls to improve lack of education in whole Afghanistan. Having a well educational system in Afghanistan will help girls not only increase their knowledge but even make them aware of their own rights which will reduce violence against them.

Although, right now giving books and pencils as a help is not enough for girls who are in the educational process, they need capacity building and infrastructure. Building schools in Afghanistan is the key factor for those girls who are sitting under a shelter in hot and cold weather and they are eager to learn.

Nowadays social media plays a critical role in each society in case of public awareness and development, by accessing new technologies we can remove physical borders across the world and connect to any part of the world any time. School girls in Afghanistan need to access the social media as well to connect to global village while they can write blogs, develop websites, participate in on-line forums to share their ideas and change world's attitude toward Afghanistan and Afghan girls.

It is very important to educate women by means of a well structured educational system because each single educated girl can bring a new world in her community and by having a society with educated women in Afghanistan having a peaceful and developed country is not a dream.
