Akhilesh Yadav elected national president of SP, his supporters ‘sack’ Shivpal, Amar Singh

In a dramatic development, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has been elected as national president of the Samajwadi Party at the national executive meeting called by Ram Gopal Yadav. Addressing Samajwadi Party workers, Ram Gopal Yadav announced that the national executive unanimously elected Akhilesh Yadav as the national president of the party. Ram Gopal Yadav also proposed removal of Shivpal Singh Yadav from the post of state president and expulsion of Amar Singh from Samajwadi Party.

“This National Executive unanimously elects Akhilesh Yadav ji as the national president of Samajwadi Party,” said Ram Gopal Yadav. “This National Executive also wants Shivpal Singh Yadav to be removed as state president and Amar Singh be sacked from the party,” Ram Gopal added. There was a roar of approval when party leader Ramgopal Yadav proposed that Akhilesh Yadav be the new National Working President and also declared that Shivpal Yadav would no more be the state party President.
