Allama Muhammad Iqbal was born on 21st April 1874 at Sialkot.His father was a tailor and his mother used to teach Quran to children.

Iqbal was a lawyer by profession.He successfully became a barrister.

Beside being a successful and competent lawyer, he was an expceptiona poet.

He used his poetry to awaken the Muslims of Subcontinent who were suppressed by tyranny of British and Hindus.

He produced a revolution in hearts of Muslims.He also gave the idea of a separate nation. He was a strong supporter of 2 nation theory.
