Women are complementary of men and this group of society can work in many cases, but in view the situation, their culture and beliefs of the country.

In the late it is said that sports of women has increased in society.

In previous years women even cannot went out of their homes but in these days, along with lessons and training they show interested in sport and exercise.

Many of women are show interested in volleyball, basketball and other sports in these days.

But their interest is lower than their numbers, so that half the populations are women and still a few of them show interest about these things.

On the issue, low number of women in sport is based on several factors.

That main contributing factor that we can take up is limited space for women in the country.

Women in the previous years and especially during the Taliban had banned all thing and sports is one of those cases.

Bad tradition also is one of the problems that women faced in Afghanistan and is the one of reasons to backwardness of all the fields.

Also many families embarrassed to send their daughters to sports.

Besides this being deemed worthless exercise among girls has also been to don’t have attention for this section.

But even women has persisted the problem and turning to the sport.

On this issue, the establishment of associations and sports clubs is an example for this action.

AL Zahra sports complex is one of these sports organizations in West Kabul that has been established to provide educational services to women and girls for sport friend.
