Baked beetroot

Method
First Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.


Take a few beets, preferably to be all the same size, clean earth and wash well, then pat dry. Each beet put it in aluminum foil, drizzle with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar, coarse salt and pepper. so all wrapped beets and bake until soft well.


One can easily check with a toothpick. We have kept almost an hour, but the time varies greatly depending on the size of the beet,.


Once removed from the oven, let rest a few minutes and only then loosen the foil. Attention to potential hot steam! Peel beets, cut into cubes and season to taste. Can I become a delicious salad, mixed with some goat cheese and walnuts, or a simple but delicious garnish.


We cut slices baked beets, we've sprinkled with a little olive oil extravirigin I also added a dash of salt and I joined a baked duck breast and made a delicious salad of raw kale, radishes, walnuts, parsley and lemon juice. You lick your fingers, nothing else!
