Barakah of Du’aa

Posted on at

Sometimes the energy to maintain patience does wane and you wonder how on earth is the energy ever going to suddenly sprout within you when you do not even have the energy to think straight!
You need to think first of ways to achieve patience before you can reclaim it because truly in certain situations, it seems like a flag on top of a huge mountain. Even if somehow you muster the energy to climb that huge mountain, the fear of slipping and falling keeps draining you.
I came across a beautiful quote and I wanted to share it with the entire world. Right now. Right this instant. Even if I have to do it in my half-awake state, I thought I’ll do it! Why? Because I know sometimes we need a quick word or two to re-charge our spiritual batteries. I also know that like me there are many of you. I admit I’m no superwoman and I get my TLC from beneficial reminders.
From Ta’leem al Muta’llim, pp. 9:
dua quote
Gist of the quote:
So whoever is granted the provision of making du’aa will not be deprived of its response. So if a tribulation is (in) his decree, it will inevitably befall him; however Allah swt will make it easy upon him. And he will provide him with patience through the barakah (blessing) of his du’aa.
~
Bottom line: Du’aa is so beneficial that either you get what you want or in a situation of calamity, get blessed with patience through the barakah of the du’aa just because you called upon Him, the Lord of the Worlds. The same God who hates to see his slave hurt. The very same God who descends every night to grant forgiveness to whomsoever calls upon Him and whomsoever turns to Him for his needs.
So call upon Him for every affair of yours even if calamity has already hit you.
You never know when Patience may make an appearance through the very door you knocked, wipe away all your tears and with great ardency lead you to a path that promises a comforting shade of a tree in the scorching heat of your life. All by His Special Mercy.
Just keep knocking!
And Allah swt knows best.
Please forgive me for my long absence. My health prevents me from contributing and responding to the kind emails. Nevertheless, jazakummAllahu khayran for the subscribers, visitors and those who comment. May Allah swt be pleased with you all and your families. Ameen.
O Allah swt provide us with the Rizq of making du’aas that please You! Please grant us Your Love and make us and our generations of the Siddiqeen. Ameen!
