Basavakalyan

 

Basavakalyan is a town in Bidar District of the condition of Karnataka, India, and was truly known as Kalyan. Basavakalyan's history goes once more to 3000 years with its name being said in Guru Charitra. Prior to India's autonomy, Basavakalyan was called Kalyani. Basavakalyana Fort was built by Chalukyas.
