A real-life story of a 17 years old girl, Nisha. Who always wears a red flower given to her by her mother. She believes the flower will catch the attention of the eyes of any person who looks at her. The next thing to catch the attention was her skin, a rare skin Ichryosis- a condition that causes skin scaly and dry. It has no cure. As if her skin tissues aren't enough. This is neither infectious or contagious. She was born with that skin and missing eyelids were part of her disorder. Her eyes were ulcerated as they remain open throughout the day and she has 15 percent of vision. When people around her stare at her gifted skin, she always has a positive belief that they are looking at the red flower in her hair. She would smile at her mother and her mother would humbly smile back at her.

Despite all the challenges she faced with her condition, her parents gave her a wonderful life in a normal family with siblings. She spends her childhood playing all the time with her brothers and sisters. As she grew, she realizes everyone has problems and difficulty in their life but some are visible and some are not. But her problem was a lot more visible.

Her skin condition was one in the million but for her, her mother was one in the million who took care of her in every situation.  And loved her unconditionally. As it is said, "the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". For her mother, Nisha was a beautiful little girl just like the rest of her children.

Her disease is a part of her life, not her identity. Because her life is like everyone else's with some hopes, some dreams, some struggle. But what she stated at the end of the story was something unexpected and rare. Her story of life would never be told if a couple wouldn't have adopted her 17 years ago.

She was abundant by her biological parents at two weeks old and was adopted by a David and Aloma Lobo. Nisha concluded her story as part of speech to prospective adoptive parents, and a couple visiting an orphanage to adopt a baby with such skin condition.

Currently, Nisha is 18 years old and working as an intern for Autumn, worldwide, a digital marketing company. They have warmly accepted her and mentored her at the organization. And Nisha has always been a fighter with a huge amount of self-respect.

When she started to step out in the world the people would not accept her. She always says to them.

My condition doesn't define me, it is who I might look like this but am a good person.

This is an inspiring story of Nisha and her parents that teaches us to open our eyes towards the people who are uniquely gifted. Her parents say.

Even if someone has a genetic disorder that doesn't decrease there value nor make them less human.

As teenagers, we tend to worry about pimples, acne and facial hairs growing in all the wrong places. This girl with her unique story has warm our hearts and showed us the true meaning of self-love, Self-worth, and self-respect.
