When you get into water your body weight is reduced by about 25% and it reduces the stress impact to your joints. So you can move your body parts easier than on ground. When you swim the whole body is active. It covers a whole lot of exercises you do on ground. Since water absorbs sweat you will feel more comfortable and relaxed. You don’t feel that you are doing an exercise. But you have burnt larger amount of calories compared to other exercises like in jogging daily or running or cycling. Reports have revealed that swimmers are having a good night sleep than others. It reduces level of cholesterol in body and blood pressure too.
