Well, actually, the answer is that… The boiling water will EVAPORATE. This will then condenses very quickly, in the cold air as a cloud of visible steam which will immediately freeze into a dust of itsy-bitsy, tiny ice crystals. (Who would dare believe that in this freezing temperature, this can actually happen?)

Just like what this guy did as he threw a pot of boiling water into the air outside with a freezing -41 degrees Celsius. The result was actually fascinating. Thus, the video went viral, spreading across the globe.
