Befor the governor, Jerry Brown, signed a bill on Saturday that legalizes the use of the bitcoin as money, the use and circulation of it was illegal in California. The bill not only allows the use of the bitcoin, but also other digital currencies. It appears now that you can pay with bitcoins if you are low in cash and use it as a form of payment on the internet. With this, I believe California has become the first state in the United States to legally use the bitcoin as currency.
