Co-Education: (Benefits of Co-education)

Dear ! I start my 1st Part of blog in favor of co-education System I would mention what co-education actually means? It means the system of education in which girls and boys sit together under one roof to get education,co-education system has become very common at school level and collages. It is not a new idea nor did a trend set by European culture. If we look back to our history then we will find this system in the “system” where girls and boys were given the education together.

Education also means the development. It is the development of each and every aspect of personality but confident behavior, decent way of talking and the ability to share ideas before anyone without any hesitation. For this purpose co-education is essential or the need of the present age. Here I would point out surely some benefits of co-education. Firstly when girls and boys sit together in one class room or in one institution they become more confident. It also lessens their natural shyness for opposite sex and they behave confidently. Both the sexes have also a different experiences for instance boys have a social exposure so when they share their ideas with each other they may get an opportunity to learn from each other experiences. Boys may have sometime a practical experience of certain things so in this respect co-education gives benefit to both.

Co-education system also creates a sense of healthy competition among both the sexes which results in good academic records. It has also been noted that where girls and boys studied together they try to compete and supersede each other.

This atmosphere of healthy competition also motivates the average students to come forward and work hard to make their academic records better. Further girls and boys behave more decently as both the sexes want to have good repute in the presence of the opposite sex.

Men and women are the integral part for each other. After completing their studies when these boys and girls stepped in their practical life this co-education helps them to understand each other behavior as well as their psychological problems. As these girls and boys have already some experience or idea about the nature habits and behavior of each other so this would surely help them to develop a better understanding for their life partner. They many good companions in their later married life.

Moreover in present age for the development and the progress of the country it is necessary that woman should come forward with men so after completing the education these girls can easily join different professions with men. Both can work together at hospitals in offices in factories and everywhere.

!!!!!  Some Facts about Co-education: (Harms of Co-education) 2nd part  !!!!!:

Dear ! Few years back co-education system was only presented at university level but today it has been introduced at schools and collages.

If we give the argument that co-education is the need of the present age them it is totally false or reduce problems related to young girls and boys. Womans chastity and vagrantly is still important as it was in the past. It the present time we are not as much advance as Europe and America regarding our moral values. In our country girls still have their natural shyness and are hesitant even to talk to boys. On the other hand when the girls and boy studied together there is no surety that they would safeguard their moral values and would not think in wrong terms for each other when these immature minds sit together and meet every day then they may inclined towards many social and moral vices so I think there is no need to put the chastity and virginity of these girls and the morality of the boys in to trail. Further teachers and other concerned authorities cannot keep an eye on the activities of both the sexes all the time so it is far better to have separate institutions for both at least at school and collage levels.

Further whereas the confidence or the development of the shoal personality is concerned we may develop this in the separate institutions. It is also noticeable that girls because of their natural shyness cannot ask question frankly in the class. They also cannot express their opinion in the presence of the boys.

Moreover as I said in favor of the co-education system that it prevails the atmosphere of competition among both the sexes and they try to show better academic results while studying together but I also think on the other hand it may also cause to affect their academic progress instead of betterment. The reason is that while studying in a co-education both the sexes give more attention to their physical appearance to attract the opposite sex. Boy spend a lot of time on fashion as they become conscious about their looks in the presence of the girls so whereas co-education emerges a sense of competition on the other hand it may also cause the dive ration from studies for both the sexes.

We may have a check on the apparent activities of our young girls and boys but no on their thinking.
