Lahore- Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz says, dialogue with India will be held on all issues, including longstanding Kashmir dispute.

 

Talking to journalists, Sartaj Aziz said that India has revoked the dialogues after initiating them and pronounced that the negotiations, between both countries would help to eliminate tension on Line of Control (LoC). He said that Pakistan has never joined India in arms race. The Advisor said that national security is an important part of Pakistan's foreign policy. 

 

He further expressed that Pakistan wants to have mutual relations with India and termed harmony, between leadership of both countries as essential for national security. “The dialogues with India can only be held, if it shows concern over Kashmir dispute,” he said.

 

He said Pakistan has the capability to defend itself.  He said operation Zarb-e-Azb is successfully continuing to eliminate terrorism from the country. The Advisor said confidence building environment has been restored with Kabul and cooperation with Afghanistan in intelligence sharing and defense sector has improved. Moreover, he affirmed that the Pakistan land would never be used against Afghanistan.
