Rainbow Looms and their lookalikes:

 

Sometimes you can get a loom that acts like a Rainbow Loom in Dollar stores. I found a few of these in Dollarama Canada. I was amazed to find these looms because I could never afford a loom and wanted one so bad.

If you are broke, you can see if your dollar store carries these looms and get one if they do. Mine was sturdy which was unexpected for dollar store stuff. I couldn't believe that. I can get a good bag of bands to go along with the loom there, most often for me, included with a loom.

This was my magic solution to getting a loom because I wanted to do these rubber band bracelets so bad and wanted a loom. When I found the loom, I was so amazed that the dollar store had it that I couldn't believe it. It was just one of those finds that you just run into at any random time.
