Drink Tea During Meals

It's nice to have a glass of a cold soda or ice water after meal. However, when you drink cold water or soda, the oily stuff that you just consumed will be solidified. After having a high-fat meal, blood vessels constrict which will make your heart work harder to pump blood. Research shows that drinking green or black tea with your meal may counter those negative effects. The tea will help the blood vessels dilate more quickly. This is one reason why the Chinese and Japanese serves tea during meals. Try to make it a habit and enjoy the wonders of tea.
