ILOCOS NORTE - The family of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) is seeking for help to get her out of jail.

According to Anabelle Robianes of Barangay Nagsurot, Burgos, Ilocos Norte, her 25-year-old daughter Azzeleah, who works as a domestic helper in Dubai, has been in jail for a month.

Azzeleah was imprisoned after she was accused of burning her two-year-old ward with a flat iron.

Robianes added that her daughter has been planning to leave her strict employer and go back to the Philippines.

She only learned about her daughter's condition after another OFW posted about Azzeleah's condition on Facebook

. Robianes has kept in touch with her daughter, who is in good condition despite being in jail.

She is now seeking the help of the government to coordinate with the Philippine Embassy in Dubai.
