Last week I attended the Playgrounds audiovisual festival along with my classmates on the MA course. This year the festival took place over three days in three different cities in The Netherlands - Tilburg, Eindhoven and Amsterdam.

Three days full of lectures, workshops and performances. Please read my full report on my personal blog, which includes embedded videos, but here you can see what I thought were the highlights:

Julia Pott, independent animator gave a workshop and presentation, French illustrator Genevieve Gauckler showed her beautiful work, and Job and Joris from the Dutch Job, Joris & Marieke studio presented their short films and other projects.

We also heard from illustrator Jon Burgerman, game designer Rex Crowle with the new awesome looking game Tearaway, and Pixar.
