Hi everyone!

Today is July 1st - a new month for our War of Films contest! We'd like to remind you that we will be giving away $1000 to the filmmaker whose film receives the most votes by July 31st. You can join the contest with a film you're already presenting on Film Annex or you can upload a brand new film! Here are some tricks on how to get your film to #1:

Make sure you join the contest with a short or feature film. No trailers, teasers, or clips are accepted.

Tell your friends, followers, and everyone you know about your competing film.

Embed your film's page on your website, social networks, etc. You can do this by using our embed button or by simply putting a link to your page on other websites. To see instructions on how to use the embed button, go here.

Be persistent. The contest gets especially competitive towards the end of the month. Make sure you promote your film until the last day!

Organize your Web TVs

Film Annex now lets you organize your Web TVs. Those filmmakers who have Web TVs can administer their movies by going to their "My Page" and clicking on the "Admin Your Web TVs" button above the player.

Talk about your movies and generate revenues!

We want to remind you that commenting on/writing blog posts about your films will help you increase your traffic and revenues to a great extent. Here are some suggestions on what you can post:

Film pitch/treatment

Presentations you've given to producers, investors, distributors, etc.

Personal commentaries from your cast & crew. This is also a great way for your team members to promote themselves.

Independent articles and interviews you might have done before, during, and after the release of the film.
