NEW YORK – September 16, 2011,
Film Annex, online film and video platform, announced today that it has started broadcasting official NATO videos, including those filmed on site in Afghanistan, interviews with army men, press conferences, and more.
The aired content comes directly from NATO’s video library and provides a detailed look into some of the most important current events, such as the 20-hour Kabul attack that took place yesterday. Film Annex will be updating its database with one new video every day. The full list of content can be seen on filmannex.com/NATO.

This week, Film Annex broadcasts seven videos, reporting news from Kabul and Kosovo. The exclusive footage shot in Afghanistan shows the ISAF forces fighting against a number of insurgents, firing weapons into the compounds of headquarters ISAF and the US embassy. Another video shows a suicide bomber detonating outside ISAF HQ perimeter wall. The audience also gets to see several interviews with US, French, German, and Macedonian ISAF soldiers who report straight from the war zone.

Film Annex’s goal in broadcasting the videos is to educate its viewers about the latest global affairs that shape the world today. The presented footage comes in raw format and differs from regular newscasts and articles by the fact that it is unedited and unbiased. Viewers can tune into the Film Annex NATO channel to get weekly updates and converse with one another by commenting, messaging, and using other social media tools on the site.
