Forum Mall to Hyderabad

Posted on at

Great way to end a weekend trip to Bangalore. Lunch with a fellow t-bird at Forum Mall. The mall is quite nice and meets western standards. Filled up on some yummy Indian food especially chili paneer that was thankfully not to spicy for my tastebuds. I have tried Kingfisher beer which in my limited beer knowledge is quite good. Yet to try any American beers but when in Indian drink the local stuff.

From Forum Mall plans were set to go to Indiranagar for an early dinner. So happy MC had time to meet up. She always brings cheer to my day. Makes me wish I was a Bangalore fellow to have Sarah and MC nearby. Sarah took me in for the weekend and I got to enjoy her yummy cooking skills. I tried to contribute by making eggs and tomato for breakfast. So MC had an adventure thanks to us being late (something about African time). The original restaurant was closed so we headed to California Pizza Kitchen. The food was good and it's been years since I've patronized the chain. We chatted about IDEX, life after IDEX, and India experience. We all agree that work from home should not be an option because why did we travel so many thousands of miles to sit home daily or to be taken advantage off.

From Dinner I found my way to the bus stop. Thanks to some kind locals I was pointed in the right direction. Walking at night in Indiranagar made me kinda nervous since I don't know the roads. Bus thankfully came on time and I settled into a night sleeping to awake in Hyderabad. I got to Chandanagar before the Aparna bus started so I made the lovely walk back then headed to the gym for a much needed workout. Plank time went from 3min to 1min 2day :(. I'll get back 1 min by weeks end hopefully. After the gym I sadly realized I forgot to tell a t bird that I was going to Bangalore for the weekend. Could've seen 2 t birds in Bangalore but there is hope I may return again in next 2 months.
