Frozen herbs in cube form

A very good way to prepare fresh +Herbs for later use is to +Freeze them in cube form. Then when necessary you can add them to +soups, +stews, cooked dishes or even into cool drinks and +cocktails.

You can simply chop the herbs finely, put it in the ice-cube trays and top up with water before freezing.

Whole mint leaves or borage flowers could be frozen in the same method for the use of+Floating drinks and cocktails.

You could also freeze +Culinary herbs by packing them in polythene bags or cartons for short periods of time. But they will not have the same texture of fresh herbs once they are thawed.

This method could be used for herbs that do not keep a good +Aroma when dried such as parsley, mint,chieves and basil.
