This is abdul from malawi. This is my first blog. Hope you all will like and support it. Actually today i want to talk about Freedom! What freedom is actually ? E.g Lets talk about freedom in uk.

There was an online news last month that some guys taking picture of up-skirts women etc while they jogging or shopping in uk, and government should take serious action to stop "these perverts taking upskirt shots of women out jogging and shopping"

From a liberal point of view, shouldn't pro-liberal activists uphold the rights of men to ogle at women, take their pictures of up-skirts etc. So long as they dont physically hurt the women? Shouldnt their "freedom" be upheld and valued? And the taboos like "pervert" be dropped that undermine this freedom of men ?

If not then on what basis should this freedom be curtailed? Surely not on a liberal basis. There is nothing in liberalism that stops these men from exercising this freedom.

Only on a Judeo-Christian or other religious basis (such as islamic basis) can we argue that such actions be regarded as perverted and be discourage.

Well, then shouldn't we apply religious values consistently and also tell the women to not reveal their charms in public as that is considered pervert according to Judeo-Christian values? Why should we be stopped from discouraging our women from this perversion in the name of respecting freedom?

At the end of the day. If britain is proudly liberal, then these "perverts" are very much living by the british values. Values that britain doesn't seem to own up to in this case.

In Conclusion i think this should be taken in concern because everyone has a freedom of speech. And both gender should respect each other. This will make the world a better place to live in.
