First, we were presented with the dreaded 'global warming'.  But since there has been an absence of such 'warming' in the past seventeen years, this particular moniker lost any effectiveness, thus needed to be changed.

Hence, the dreaded new scare word became --

'Climate Change'.  

Whoa!  I do think I may have pee'd a little.  

All I could think about was the 90's song by 'Ini Kamoze'..."Here Comes The Hotstepper"

Wait, wait... slow down and put away the 'Depends' (adult diapers for those not aware).  Seems most people (I'm speaking about the U.S. here) have come to realize the climate has experienced cycles of "change" throughout history.  Well, what do you know?  This 'climate changy thingy' didn't move the needle in terms of public perception.  A January 2014 Pew Research Poll found that "global warming/climate change" ranked next to last out of 20 issues tested.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to play "Let's Spin the Moniker".  And wouldn't you know, a new moniker has come to light in the past few days.  

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you, a new and improved... a "different wolf" which goes by the name --

"Climate Disruption"

That's scary.  I may have pee'd again.
