Hard Rock has been a committed campaigner against world hunger now for years, including John Lennon's legacy - "Imagine" & Why Hunger, under leadership of its CEO Hamish Dodds, Annie Balliro (Philanthropic), and David Miller, (NE Regional Head). David forwarded a message to us regarding a new initiative: David's message:
"Hard Rock Cafe
We just launched a Facebook Deal that will aid in the fight against hunger & poverty worldwide. Beginning now - Dec 31, 2010, use Facebook Places to check into any Hard Rock Cafe location throughout the U.S. and Hard Rock will donate $1 to benefit WHY (World Hunger Year), a non-profit that is a leader in the movement to end hunger and poverty. Help us to fight childhood hunger and poverty worldwide!"
