When Did You Realize It was Love? 

I was so young but when I first saw him, it was love at first sight.

What Did It Feel Like? 

Like no on else was in the room when he was there. I was 12 years old and believed anything was possible. He was my first everything! I felt like we were made for each other and no one can come between us. We were happy and I loved him. I truly loved him! Whenever I kissed him, it felt pure and true. I sacrificed so many things and he did in return. He made me feel special and loved. it was like the world was better and everything around me was better.

What Happened Next? 

But I was blind. He was cheating behind my back and of course I forgave him because I believed that he would change. I thought he would treat me better like he used to. But as time went by he stopped caring about me. I could tell he didn't care when I was sad or mad. He even said he was just used to me being upset that it didn't matter to him anymore. I cried and cried and he didn't care at all. He broke up with me countless times. We were on and off for 6 years! Now we don't talk anymore and I think it's for the best.

Lessons Learned

• Keep your eyes open for cheaters.
• Even though you feel you are as happiest as you can be, remember the reality of things.
• Jealously can really ruin a relationship.
• Don't trust him if he has cheated on you, because once a cheater, always a cheater.
• Don't let other relationships discourage you for what good is out there. never give up hope that you will fall in love again!
• It is better to have loved than to have never loved at all.
