How Loud is Too Loud?

Posted on at

In particular when in regards to music? I suffer from migraines, and I mean /suffer/ from them. They can start as early as March to as late as May. This year they started during the last week of January. So if someone parked on the street in front of one's home is playing music that's loud enough to rattle the /entirety/ of the home, is that then too loud?

Would it then be unreasonable to ask Nicely that the offending party turn that music down with an explanation as to why you are asking? Or is it just being a 'racist entitled bitch' to ask nicely that music that's being played so loud that it rattles an /entire/ building be turned down?

I rarely leave home because of migraines. I rarely do much of anything because of migraines. So it is hardly a surprise that music playing loud enough to rattle every square inch of my home causes me to hurt more, and not less. I suppose it could be argued that I am being 'over sensitive', or for that matter that I am just a bitch. That said, I can't think of very many people that aren't grumpy when they are in pain, and when that pain is to a point where /every/thing causes more pain; well then it's to be expected that the person suffering from that much pain be a bit of a bitch.
