Check out this really affordable variant of the Honor 4X

Remember the Honor 4X? That affordable 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 equipped device from Huawei? It seems that the company is making another version of that phone, this time bearing their own Kirin 620 SoC. The kicker here is since Huawei makes the Kirin SoC, they can now offer the Honor 4X at a lower price. How low? Well, you’re looking at as little as RMB 799 (around Php 5756) for the 1GB version. Considering what you’re getting (LTE, 64-bit architecture) the price is very competitive, and is obviously aimed at competing with their domestic rival, Xiaomi.

Aside from the processor change there isn’t anything different from the earlier version of the Honor 4X. The 2GB version of the Kirin-powered Honor 4X is going to be priced at RMB 999, (around Php 7181) which is still lower than the expected RMB 1299 (Php 9510) price of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 powered version of the device. The Kirin-powered version of the Honor 4X will be unveiled next week in Beijing, if everything goes according to plan we’ll be able to check it out in person there.
