Ilocos Pride

Ilocos, which is divided into two, Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur, is a tourist destination in the Philippines. Ilocos is also called 'Land of the North' because it is located at the uppermost part of the country. This province boasts a lot of commodities especially for travel enthusiasts. So let's start our trip to discovering Ilocos!

From beaches to sand dunes, there is a large number of destinations to choose from. First off, there's Vigan: famous for its historical houses. The historical houses were mostly built by rich Chinese traders on the late 1700's. Vigan is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the capital of Ilocos Sur.

Next stop is Paoay sand dunes. Filipino movies which have desert scenes usually film here in Paoay because of its desert-like structure. Activities like sand boarding and 4x4 ride are also popular among tourists so the natives of Paoay also adopted these thrilling amenities and are such a pop to people who likes excitement.

Got dirty in the sand? Let's take a swim! Pagudpud offers you a refreshing dip in its renowned white sand beach. To make swimming more amusing, other activities like banana boat, surfing, kayaking and other water sports are also provided by a known resort in the area, Hannah's Beach Resort and Convention Center.

Thought our trip was over? Totally not! One last place to go to: the windmills! After a long and exhausting day of exploring the suburbs of Ilocos, it's now time to really unwind from all the stress all this earth could give us. Get taken away in Bangui by its revitalizing windmills to restore your drained souls.

And this is the end to our trip to Ilocos. Hope you enjoyed and learned a lot about this place! Also hoping you'll come visit this place soon. :))
