India's direct qualification for Olympics

 

When it comes to playing hockey, it is known as a national game of India. Many unbelievable thing moments has been done by Indian hockey team.  Indian hockey team is one of the best hockey team in Olympics that has been successful with 8 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. The same miracle is been done by India in Asian Games by winning the final match by penalty shootout against Pakistan. It was almost impossible to win for an India when the match tied up with Pakistan with equal goals of 1-1. Then came the penalty shootout from both the teams. In the penalty shootout, it was looking very hard for the India to snatch the game out from the hand of Pakistan. But the goalkeeper of the Indian Hockey Team has saved the day by deflecting two penalties making it easy for the team mates to score the penalty into goal for the win. It was 48 years long wait that has made Indian team happier than ever. Since the last victory in the year 1966, it was looking hard for Indian team to defeat Pakistan in Asian games. But Indian team had made it and got a direct entry in the Olympic that will be hosted in Brazil in the 2018.
