Posted on at

We interviewed Jeremiah Newton, the industry liaison at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Film & Television.

Newton is not only a powerful link between the students and the film industry, but also a writer and an actor himself. His insightful comments and answers to our questions, concerning the Contact Series at NYU, the WGA strike, and the role of the new media in today's world will bring answers to the questions of every filmmaker out there.

Here are the five questions we asked him. You can listen to the interview by clicking on the attached file.

1) Can you tell us a little bit about your role at NYU?
2) What is Contact Series, and how students benefit from these talks?
3) I read in the Filmmaker magazine that you are a writer yourself. Can you tell us about your project about Candy Darling?
4) What do you think about the WGA strike that's going on right now? How does this affect the industry?
5) What do you think about the role of the New Media as a new method of distribution.
