Italian Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in Herat province involve more in performing and participating in provincial governmental sectors and civil affairs to support and build infrastructure in Afghanistan and facilitate reconstruction.

As education is a very important factor in developing society, they also try to put their focus on this issue as well. From constructing new school building campuses to paint classrooms and walls, installing new doors and windows, gardening schools are all the assists that they did for girls and boys in schools to have a better educational environment.

Even though involving PRT in building schools in Afghanistan gives this sense to young students to feel secure and believe that still there are people who take care about them .

Visiting Afghan Citadel Software Company (ACSC) that has a partnership with FilmAnnex in Afghanistan as the initiative for establishing IT centers for girls school and facilitating it with Internet to access social media and even writing blogs, was an achievement again from another Italian partner Francesco Rulli which made PRT impressed about how private sectors can also take part in activities which can lead for the benefits of government and public.

This initiative also gives female to engage more in social activities than before and that is how school can play as a tool for them to get what they want to be in future thus, educating women is the key factor in growth of technology and industries in each society. Equal participation of women in science and technology development can provide a better working environment both for men and women.

Time is slowly going to change and women empowerment is one of the issues that should be considered. Although the number of women who are going to participate in Educational sectors increase day by day thus hoping to have more chances in future for women activities will not be a dream.
