Jordanian air chief visits PAC Kara, PAF Academy Risalpur
ISLAMABAD - Jordanian Royal Air Force Commander Major General Mansour Salim Al-Jobour visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra, and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Academy, Risalpur, on Tuesday.
On his arrival at PAC, Kamra, the Jordanian air chief was received by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Board Chairman Air Marshal Javaid Ahmed. The delegation was briefed about organisation and functions of PAC, Kamra.
The delegation visited aircraft rebuild factory, mirage rebuild factory, avionics production factory and aircraft manufacturing factory. Maj Gen Mansour Salim took keen interest in the final assembly line and flight testing facilities of JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak aircraft.
Later, the delegation also visited PAF Academy, Risalpur, where it was received by PAF Academy Commanding Air Officer Air Vice Marshal Asim Zaheer. The delegation attended a comprehensive briefing about the academy’s organisational structure and training.
The distinguished guests visited College of Aeronautical Engineering, where they were briefed about the training facilities and laboratories of aero-space and avionics departments. The delegation also visited Air Defence Training School, School of Air Traffic Services and Flying Instructors’ School at PAF Academy, Risalpur.
