Kashmir Or Scotland

Posted on at

What I Had Written In Those Days - Yaaaran e Jahaaan Kehte Hen Kashmir Hai Jannat, Jannat Ksi Kaaafi Ko Mili Hai Na Milegi - I am happy to learn that the people of +Scotland have the option of making their decision but what I want to ask is that will +UN give Kashmiri's their right to decide? Or it is the people of West who deserve such rights?

The world's oldest democracy UK is currently facing serious problems because they have a referendum on eighteen September in which not only the people of 18+ in age but sixteen years old girls and boys have also been given the right to vote to decide the future of UK. This referendum will result into whether Scotland should remain in the federation or she should seek an independent and sovereign state.

But hearing such news thrown me in little strange feelings of sorrow and regret, everyone is supporting the voice of Scotland (me too) because few are already in their favor while others are silent because of a fear that if they raise the voice against this, their political image could be imposed a blame of non democratic but I have a question that the matter of +Kashmir has been hanging over the previous 66 years so why they have been behaving like deaf and blind in this case?

What is wrong in giving Kashmir their right to decide their own future, but it’s like beating drums to a deaf, that shows that democracy is the only right of people living in UK.

Our neighbor who claims to be the world’s largest parliamentary democracy is claiming about a democracy that is quite different from the democracy being implemented in European Countries and the world is still silent and that silent is resulting in hatred that is being promoted deliberately and intentionally and results are also well published in +Newspapers or discussed on +TV Channels.
