Leitisvatn/Sørvágsvatn is the largest lake in the Faroe Islands and situated on the island of Vágar between the municipalities of Sørvágs Kommuna and Vága kommuna. In size it is 3.4 km2, more than three times the size of the second largest lake Fjallavatn. The lake is about 30 meters above the sea level.
