As lead guitarist for Glasgow-based Stone the Crows (who sounded like Humble Pie and Grand Funk Railroad had a riff-loving baby), Les Harvey was on his way to becoming the next Jimmy Page. It certainly didn’t hurt that Stone the Crows shared a manager with Led Zeppelin. Unfortunately, Harvey now has more in common with Janis Joplin and Kurt Cobain; and not the good kind of similarity.
