Mahira Khan's Photographic Retort to Shiv Sena Will Have You In Splits

Posted on at

So political outfit Shiv Sena did what it does best: it handed the hooter to one of its party tooters who went on record to announce that from now on no Pakistani actor, performer or cricketer will be allowed on Maharashtra soil. We shuddered. But not Pakistani actor Mahira Khan. Instead she went to a Halloween party in Lahore dressed as Catwoman in tow with Pakistani filmmaker Asim Raza, director of her upcoming musical called Ho Mann Jahan, dressed as a Shiv Sainik, holding a placard shouting 'Mahira Ko Bahar Nikalo'. Smooth!

See, proof:

Mahira hit big time with her role in the Pakistani movie Bol which released in 2011. We have a feeling that Shiv Sena's declaration was mainly targeted at the likes of actor Fawad Khan and Mahira, who seem to be getting a foothold in the Indian film industry but, thankfully, our girl has more gall than Shiv Sena would assume.

We will be seeing her acting opposite actor Shah Rukh Khan in the movieRaees very soon. Till then, more power to her. And her in-yo-face filmy friends.
