Make your own natural mouthwash

Chemicals in mouthwash can reduce the amount of odor-causing bacteria in the mouth. However, the concentration of chemicals at  mouthwashrelatively high, can disrupt the cell membranes in the mouth.

In fact, chemicals in mouthwash such as ethanol and alcohol, is closely associated with an increased risk of oral cancer.

With a variety of harmful side effects, do we still want to use it? If not, replace the mouthwash with natural ingredients.

Below, there is a way to make a natural mouthwash using food ingredients that are very easy to obtain.

Natural mouthwash of ginger

materials

1 inch slices of peeled ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup chopped peppermint leaves
1 cup water

How to make:

Boil water and add all ingredients. After 15 minutes, strain the liquid and materials to separate. Keep the liquid in the bottle, and use when needed. Homemade natural mouthwash can hold up to one or two weeks.
