Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi scored his 50th goal for Inter today in a narrow 1-0 win against Frosinone.

Clearly he’s a man who’s fond of symmetry because he he reached the half century in exactly 100 games.

It was the 23-year-old’s 14th goal of the season, although he’s still miles behind Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain’s 30 goals.

This week was relatively drama free for Icardi compared to the events of the previous game against Torino.

 

The ‘Wanda Derby’, as it has come to be known, pitted Icardi against his former best friend and wife’s ex Maxi Lopez. Lopez passed up the chance to shake Icardi’s hand, instead grabbing his crotch… as you do.

But getting back to the football, we look forward to celebrating Icardi’s 100th goal in another 100 games time.
