Microsoft ditching the Nokia name on smartphones

Microsoft is discarding the Nokia fresh out of the box new gadgets, short of what a year in the wake of securing the Finnish portable firm. 

 

New Nokia Lumia cell phones will rather by known as Microsoft Lumia, the organization said. 

 

Nokia's non-portable division, which is not possessed by Microsoft, will keep on uing the name. 

 

The versatile operation was purchased by Microsoft in April in an arrangement worth $7.2bn (£4.6bn). 

 

From that point forward, Microsoft has quietly moved far from the Nokia brand. 

 

A post on Nokia France's Facebook page affirmed the marking movement. The renaming will take off comprehensively at the appointed time course, Microsoft has said.
