Many of us doesn't believe in fictional stories and think that it is a waste of time, but the way stories are portrayed in these movies move the audience into the that worlds. In Harry Potter the new wizard world is created in which magic was the subject. Harry Potter series contains many characters like wizards, witches, 3 face dog, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, night walkers, dragons, fairies, Cornish etc....... Harry Potter movie series has a powerful theme of good vs evil and emphases the fact that love conquers all. Harry Potter teaches us not only to be brave in hardships but also value friendship and family. Harry Potter was a boy who was chosen to kill the leader of the dark wizard world named Voldemort, and with the help of this friends he was able to defeat him and save the wizard school and there world. If we look on to the business, Harry Potter film series has total earning of $7,726,174,542 all around the world and have a total earning of 24 Billion and 576 million dollars which include books, merchandises, dvds . Twilight, is a film adaption of a novel written by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight moves around a girl whose name was Bella who moved to a new town to live with his father. In college he meet with a guy name Edward who later turned out to be a vampire, and in the second series it introduce a new character naming Jacob Black who turned out be a werewolf. Twilight doesn't have many characters, the movie moves around these three people. The girl didn't know whom she loves the most, the vampire or werewolf. Twilight doesn't give us a moral as the movie is all about romance. The characters in this movie are week and all move around the same plot. If we talk about business, Twilight earn about 3.5 Billion dollars and the total earning is of about 6 Billion dollars which include books and dvds. However, both of them doesn't get an Oscar, although Harry Potter series get some nominations in Oscar. But if we compare Harry Potter and Twilight, Harry Potter is much much better then Twilight in every aspects like of plot, characters, ratings, awards, business, directors, sets and the list goes on.
