My version of karma

Posted on at

So one should always be careful of one's actions. My version of karma is when I act like a jerk or do something out of character that offends someone else, I get screwed in the end. One example is I took a parking space that was open at Woodbury Commons after driving around for a while looking for parking. I ignored everyone around and just swooped in since it was a clear spot and couldn't tell who was waiting for the spot. An old lady banged on my window as if to break it and I got out of  the car staring at her. She went on and on about how could I be so rude to take the spot she was waiting for and waited for her to finish since I was not leaving the spot. I learned how to stand and  take someone yelling at me without showing a reaction by tuning them out.  So on my birthday I noticed I chipped my new phone after dropping it and linked it back to the parking lot incident.

Fast forward to last few days. I was visiting someone and yes I know this is not a stupid mistake but total brain lapse in judgement. I checked the person's computer for their wifi password. Didn't do anything with the password but I forgot to close out the windows for the network connections. Next day person was giving of different vibes which is understandable so I left after returning from my workshop. Well I left after the person gave me their ethernet cord which my computer didn't recognize. Then tried using the wifi on my computer. They changed my settings and didn't change it back after the got frustrated. When I got home I couldn't connect to my own wifi from my laptop. I was able to connect using my cell phone. The next day I went out and called the person just to see how they were doing. I wasn't planning on telling them about laptop issues but when they brought up the fact that I couldn't use their internet on my laptop, I mentioned my computer no longer connects to my wifi. Person felt bad and when I got home walked me through changing the settings. At first the network was showing up on my laptop but webpages weren't loading because the other person's public network was still setup on my computer. After being walked through reversing the changes the wifi network stopped showing up on my laptop. So for checking without asking for the wifi password my laptop is now unable to connect to my wifi. I have been using the wifi network that my phone can access from my terrace. Internet guy came today and tried to fix it but had to take the router with him saying my entire network settings had been changed. I knew once I made the changes last night that I had made my problem worse.
