It's true- a woman's nail polish choice is an absolute necessity in life. And now especially that warm weather is here, we can be sure women will get their mani-pedi fix every couple of weeks. Many fail to admit that your nail polish selection says a lot about you and your character. What color would you choose? Browns, Khakis, Purples, Pinks, Blues, Nudes, Yellows & Top Coats ! Do any of these have anything common? Of course they do, they are all nail polish trends for 2011. Do you have favorite color or brand? My personal favorite color is Mint Candy by Essie. This color looks deceiving in the tiny bottle, but the finished color is marvelous. Ironically, every other color I use is OPI and Chanel if I had the option. Now for the good stuff. Gel Mani- A personal favorite of this year! If you are a stickler about chips and not fresh looking nails for the duration of your mani-pedi, go with this! It lasts approximately 2-3 weeks and looks flawless. Only downside about this is that it can make your nails a bit thin. Chanel Khakis - Khaki Vert, Khaki Brun, and Khaki Rose are are a military toned nail polish that were popular during the fall collection. However, summer is here and they are not going anywhere. The milky-based polish leaves a great earth toned finish. Nudes are back - You can never go wrong with a nude nail look. It is clean, sleek yet still attractive and playful. Jazz Blues - Mint Candy would be included in these colors. You can try a light teal color or a bolder blue. The brighter blues are not easy to pull off, similar to the yellow. Purple Clouds - From light lavender to bold purples, you can select any color. Definitely a color that will have a selection for every type of person. Classic, trendy,funky purple has a color for you. Mellow Yellow - Although, I am not a fan of the yellow polishes. I can praise anyone who can wear this color and make it look good. It is not for everyone, so be careful when making this bold choice. Funky Top Coat Crackle- Another personal favorite trend for this year. I am usually the plain kind of gal, but this trend brought me curiosity. A great way to show individualism , be a bit flashy and spontaneous. Essie Summer Colors - A popular selection amongst customers. We see in this collection the power orange! This color is loud and bold.
