Oleh Tiahnybok: Systematic fight against corruption will help to overcome internal and external enemies

On 7 October 2014, whilst delivering a speech at the Parliament, the Leader of "Svoboda" Oleh Tiahnybok urged to make the list of MPs who voted against anti-corruption bills public. That morning, only 232 MPs registered, risking to fail be quorum. Mr Tiahnybok stated that even though there is an election campaign, all MPs have to be at work.

The Leader of nationalists stressed the importance of the Parliamentary session on 7 October where anticorruption bills should be adopted. "Svoboda" will give 100% of votes for such bills. Tiahnybok called upon other parliamentary fractions to mobilise their MPs tand vote for initiatives which would help to overcome our internal enemy - the corruption.

The nationalist feels very positive about the Lustration bill which was adopted and touches upon property lustration (which is also included in the fight against corruption). "Svoboda" leader declared that cancelling of parliamentary, judicial and presidential immunity as well as introducing the use of lie detectors for government employees is the next important step in the battle against corruption. "This systematic fight against corruption will help us to overcome both internal and enemies" - said Tiahnybok.
