Our internal experience, beliefs, our truth can strongly influence how we see the outside world.

Maybe it is banal example, but most likely you have heard the saying that a man in love sees the world through rose-tinted glasses. This can be an advantage - the world looks warmer. softer, more friendly, but there may be also a shortage - moving away from the true, real world view.

The same we can say about communication. What seems right to me, can interfere with hearing what is right to another person. This is how I see the world, may interfere with seeing the world from another person's view point.
