Today i decide to write about pashtuns culture . Actually the reason behind this is, i am also belong from pashtun family. As we people know that pashtuns are very hostable as well as they are also intelligent and tallented. If we remind the history we find many proofs of there talent and intellegence.
Look in the history sports, if we put a glance at the history of cricket, squash, hockey, boxing and many others we will find that the pashtuns are at the in the list. My saying is not to discourage the other people who are not pashtuns but i am writing about pashtuns.
If we look at the dressing, the dress is simple which is called shalwar, qameez in urdu and kurta, partog in pashtu with a hat called pakool in pashtu. And for women long dress and a peace of cloth to cover their hairs.
If we put a glance at the poetry, the patta khazana contain pashtu poetry which was written as far as in the 8th century. The famouse poets are Amir Kror, Rahman Baba, Khushal Khan Khattak and Khan Abdul Ghani and many more.
Pashtun mostly gather in a inn which is called in pashtu HUJRA. Where they gossip with each other.
If we discuss dance of pashtun, it includes ATTAN which contains several step about 2-5. In this dance step is change after every clap.
Also there is another dance, which is KHATTAK dance. This dance belongs to KHATTAK caste. This dance also contains several step and it’s step change according to the beat.
