Pakistan and China has propelled the bilateral ties to the new height with the help of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, it is a megaproject which connects Gwadar of Pakistan to Xinjiang of China. This corridor is an extension of China’s proposed 21st century silk Road initiative, China has invest $46 billion in Pakistan, this is the biggest overseas investment by China announced yet and the corridor is expected to be operational within the three years and will be a strategic game changer in the region, which would go a long way in making Pakistan a richer and stronger entity than ever before. This corridor will help china to develop a new trade and transport route from kashgar in China to Gwadar in Pakistan which help china to boost its trade around the world because Gwadar port connects to the strait of harmuz between the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf, this strait is on the highly important strategic location for international trade so, china can easily make its trade around the world in short time.
