The Palace says President Obama's move to reform the immigration policy reforms is a welcome development for Filipinos in the US.

Usec. Abigail Valte, Deputy Presidential Spokesperson, said Filipinos in America should take advantage of Obama's executive action.

Valte adds those who want to move to the US should now go through the proper procedure.

Five million undocumented immigrants, including an estimated 300,000 Filipinos stand to directly benefit from Obama's administrative relief, easing deportation threats.
