My short film Path of Blood was a labor of love. I've been a long time fan of samurai films, notably chambara, and wanted to experiment in the genre the best way I know how: animation.

The short film was meant to act as a test to see if a Samurai film could be achieved through paper cut out animation. I am pleased with the results. Throughout the production I always imagined the film to be sort of like a trailer for a longer project.

I will be starting a fund raising endeavor soon for a Path of Blood animated feature film! The film will be a rendered in a far more detailed animation style (while still being cut paper), and feature a fleshed out narrative with a wide host of interesting and unique characters.
